	The June Lake Loop ( Highway 158 ) is a 14 mile stretch of highway which branches off of highway 395. There are 4 major lakes which sit directly next to the road. Giant trout have brought fishermen to June Lake since the 1920's for their chance to land "ol'Moe". The summer fishing season is only half the fun however. During the winter months June Lake Loop opens up and the real fun begins. The front face of June Mountain, directly above the roadway, is one of the ten steepest sustained ski slopes in America. The upper mountain, above the face, is a hanging valley with easy to intermediate terrain.
